Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00	I seem to remember reading in here a while ago about a Patch for Windows that speeds up up/download times for cable/DSL users... but i can't find that thread. Does anyone know: A) What/Where this Patch is? B) If it also works for Satellite (VSAT) Modem systems? O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	SpeedGuide.net has a lot of patches and tweaking utilities for optimizing broadband connections. I'm not sure if they will apply to your VSAT modem or not, but maybe you can find some info on the site. You can also test your speed on DSLReports.com ON YOUR KNEES, BITCHES!!!!!!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	Turk, if you haven't already, go back to DSL Reports and register. Then go to the discussion forums, and look for your type of connection. Within the forums you can take a few diagnostic tests, post them on the message board there, and the current knowledgeable members can steer you in the right direction as to what you need to tweak or change in your computer's settings to get the fastest speed possible out of your connection. It worked for me before these patches and hacks came out (or at least made public outside of the boards onto which they were posted).
