| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | OK, first of all I would recommend you get a new set of speakers, preferrably a set that comes with a subwoofer - makes all the difference in the world. Now if you still insist on using your stereo, the best way to do this would be to run a cable from your soundcard's output jack (where your comp speakers are currently hooked up) and plug the other end of the cable into an AUX port on the back of your stereo. Then when you wanna hear you comp through those speakers turn on your stereo, set it to AUX - job done. If you're talking about connecting your stereo speakers directly to the PC, they might not sound as good as you think. Bigger speakers generally need more amplification to produce a better sound, and your PC doesn't put out (normally) the necessary amount - that's why you would wanna run in through your stereo. Splice the wires together. Plug one end into the headphone jack on your sound card and the other into mic jack on your stereo. *Edit: Whoops! was thinking he wanted to broadcast.
