However, being lead out of desired thread after logging in (after hitting post reply while not logged in) is not so nifty. More better the old way.  | ||||

If anyone is reading this, does it work for you (put you to the reply page after you log in) or kick you out of the thread like it is with DIG? If it's broken, I really do want to fix it. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 01 | I just did it and it threw me out of the forum and back to the main page. EDIT: I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I just bought and installed Norton's Personal Firewall. Strange things (not specific to board functions aside from the "problem" I've mentioned) have been happening since then. Just thought I bring that up for what it's worth. I think it's in how the board gets the last page you were on (referrer)..... because from the login page, if there is no referrer, you get kicked back to the index. Apparently NPF blocks that referrer. Look for something related to CGI scripts. New AIM, y'know. | ||||

I've got IE set up to prompt me to run scripts, and invariably I hit "no" yet the referrer works perfectly for me. ...though I'm talking javascript, not cgi, so I'm likely posting absolutely nothing useful.
