| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | Not sure if this is a bug, but tonight at my first log-in all night (from home), the board says there are no new messages, but clearly there are. I have not cleaned out or removed any cookies from IE either. It's not a problem, but I thought I should note it in case its a sign of other bugs to surface. If you look carfully it says new messages since "when you logged in" but when you go in a thread it has a exclamation point even if something was posted before you logged in. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Nah, it doesn't seem to just be a refresh problem. It seems that your first use of the board after a long period of inactivity is counting itself as your last logon. Example: I turned my computer on tonight - first time being on since LAST night - open Internet Explorer, and I see that there are no new messages since my last logon time - my last logon being the exact time I went to opieanthony.com tonight, in other words that exact moment. If I use the board for a while and refresh it, it will show new messages as being the ones that are new since THAT time, the time I got on the board tonight. That's why people are thinking a refresh works. This is not what I'm used to. It's also happening on two different computers (my work laptop and my desktop at home), and I haven't made any changes that would affect such a thing in the past few days. And I would know - I take pride in prying out of a user that he actually DID change something. Hope this helps you out towards finding a solution, Jeff... And sometimes while you're reading page 1, or while page 1 is loading, or because you didn't refresh your browser on the topic list in the last few minutes, someone may have already added another reply.
