| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | It's close. Both of these curses are well documented through Sports history. The latest SI curse is that Derek Jeter was on the cover of SI last week after the A's Series and he batted .118 (2-17) in the ALCS and really was a no show. There are many many more curses, the SI cover curse has caused. Some recent ones, they picked the Red Sox to win this year's World Series and the Oregon Ducks to win College Football's National Championship. Yankees have been on the cover of SI at least 6 or 7 times in the last few years, still winning championships. i'd bet against opie's pick 10 times out of 10. | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | Opie defied the Sports Gods by saying his curse was over and the Yankees made history, meanwhile the Islanders lost in heartbreak fashion. Opie curse more stronger. And remember that every NFL team that has O & A in it's city failed to cover the spread Week 1, the odds of that are astronomical. Opie Sports curse, worse than the Anthrax.  | ||||
