| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | It started harmlessly enough. I told this REALLY hot chick in my class that I would root for the Yanks in the series if she could name 5 Yankee players. (I figured there was no chance) Well, she named about 20. Well, she's really hot and I don't really give a damn about Arizona anyway, so I figured i would at least be indifferent about it, since the Yankees winning would make her happy and I like to see her happy. (I know, "How fuckin' cute") HOWEVER!! I seem to have found some sort of respect for this team. They are so good that you can't help but respect them. But, I'm starting to wonder whether I'm rooting for them cause of this chick, or because for the first time since I was 10 if I'm really starting to like them! I'll still always be a diehard Met fan, but I'm afraid I don't hate the Yankees anymore.. Can someone please save me by reminding me why I hate them so much? Its almost a rule that if you are a mets fan, you do not root for the yanks ever...unless they play the braves.
