Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | In the second round of last night's 140 pound unification bout, Kostya Tszyu unleashed a perfect right hand that sent Zab Judah to the mat at 2:59 of the round. Twice. Judah was so rocked by the bunch that landed square on his chin that he got up at the count of three or four, wobbled around then went crashing right to his face. The ref stopped the fight for Judah did not look remotely capable of getting up, and honestly, he looked done. He awarded Kostya the win and the titles, and then, all hell broke loose. It seems that in his rattled haze, Judah thought he could continue. After learning of the decission, Zab defiled his whole career and a great finsh by Kostya by throwing a tantrum reminicent of a three year old. He continuly tried to get at the ref and at one point got him pinned against the ropes with his left hand lodged under the ref's throat. Judah then felt inclined to toss his stool from his corner at the ref while the press was getting ready for the post fighr interviews. It was a shameless display from a fighter who was regarded one of the best in the biz. All the anouncers and everyone I spoke with agreeded he was out on his feet and the ref said he stopped the fight in fear of what could have happened if he let Judah continue, stating that one more punch could have done unbelieveable damage to him. It is amazing how someone can act like an ass to change what the real story of the night was. That is the 3-1 underdog Kostya Tszyu is the Undisputed Junior Welterwieght Champion. He caught Judah right on the button and no matter what antics Zab threw, he still got knocked the fuck out by the better fighter this night. quote: This message was edited by Sean Cold 3:16 on 11-4-01 @ 11:13 AM | ||||

I saw the replay of that punch; that knocked all the education that Judah had acquired in 2 years of school out of his head. WTF is up with attacking the ref, hell i would deport his ass so fast he wouldnt know what hit him. Knowing the corrupt world of boxing, the ref will be paid money in a private settlement, and Judah will get a rematch. Judah is a punkass who doesnt realize that the ref saved his ass from getting seriously injured. Congrats to Tszyu for becoming the undisputed champ. Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | It wasn't Judah's wobbly legs that made the ref stop the fight, but Judah's entire body wobbling that ended the fight. Zab looked like he dropped into a seizure the second time he fell down. It was a good move to stop the fight. Getting a knockout like that is like a hanging curveball-sometimes it happens, and you have to deal with it, like Rahman knocking Lewis the fuck out... it's just one of those things.
