Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 01 | After seeing the ESPN documentary of Rahman last night and then seeing the weigh-in, I've got to go with my man Rock once again. I don't think there is anything Lewis can do about that right hand landing. It may not happen as early this time, but it is inevitable! What are your picks for this Saturday's championship fight? Lewis or Rahman?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | It should be an interesting fight just because everyone is wondering if Lewis can get back to being what he was before the first Rahman fight. Personally i want Lewis to win, just so that Vladimir Klitchkov (sp?) can knock his ass out and become the rightful champion of the world. However, im picking Rahman in 8 by knockout, and the end of Lewis's career. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Well after rahman got robbed against David Tua back in 1997, I knew that he would get a well deserved title shot one day. Given that the true claimer of the throne Ike Ibeabuchi is in a looney bin awaiting his sentencing with the courts. Looks like Tua is out of the picture even though he is a #1 contender yet again. It is all up to Lewis and Rahman, whoever wins will next year get the big payday with Tyson. Or there will be a rubber match between holyfield and lewis if lewis wins saturday and if holyfield wins later this month against john ruiz to win ruiz's wba belt that lewis was stripped of by a court. Bottom line, I picked rahman the first time cause i knew lewis's training regement and his lackadaisical attitude towards rahman. The fights taking place in Vegas this time so altitude will not be a factor, lewis has trained better for this fight. Rahman landed a "lottery right" against lewis, this time I am picking Lewis winning by a really boring decision, most probably a split decision. I'm Deep Inside Your Children. Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | Four, and except for the first round, maybe, it wasn't even close LAS VEGAS (AP) - Lennox Lewis said it wasn't possible for him to lose a second time to Hasim Rahman, and he was right. Lewis regained the WBC and IBF heavyweight titles on a fourth-round knockout of Rahman on Saturday night. The end came a little past a minute into the round when Lewis landed a left-right and then a crashing right that dropped Rahman on his back. The punch was every bit as decisive as the right hand with which Rahman knocked out Lewis on April 22. According to a CompuBox punch analysis, Lewis landed 72 of 144 punches thrown and Rahman got home with 48 of 105. After Lewis knocked Rahman down, Lewis pounded his chest. After the fight, he said Rahman should change his name from Hasim to "Has Been." "It's funny cause it's not me." And it was worse than it looks: GodBlessAmerica. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | That was called pure domination. I watched the fight (thank god i have the box), and Lewis kicked the shit out of him for 4 rounds before putting him out of his misery. He really impressed everyone in the boxing world last night, and proved that Rahman was really a 1 punch bum. Next up will probably be Lewis vs Tyson, which will be a spectacle of its own. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | i picked lewis to win but never in my thoughts did I picture the complete dominance he displayed. Kudos to lewis but I still hate the motherfucker. The lastest words on lewis and tyson is this, exactly what has prevented this fight for years now. Lewis fights for HBO and Tyson fights for showtime. Rahman took the gamble and didn't sign with either of the networks so the fight wasn't hard to make. But the main focal point is who gets PPV rights? HBO or Showtime? Lewis is the champ so he feels HBO should, Tyson is the big name and draw so he feels showtime should, or better said the networks feel they should. But in the fighters interestes they get a share of PPV buys so they are both interested. Both networks are in talks and say they have a lot to discuss but both are more interested now than ever. Since lewis is fresh off a most dominant win and both lewis and tyson are in their later years now both in their mid 30's now. They are hopeful is all goes well to have lewis and tyson square off in April of 2002. I'm Deep Inside Your Children. They Will Betray You In MY Name. She-Mail Me Here
