TeenWeek what's a status? | posted on 12-28-2001 @ 9:34 AM
O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | These are all the games that could screw up the playoffs, whether a team making, getting a bye week, getting home field, etc. Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati 1:00 PM CBS Paul Brown Stadium -Cincinnati has no shot. Without Corey Dillon, I don't even think they are good enough to make a college bowl game. Buffalo vs NY Jets 1:00 PM CBS Giants Stadium -I am scared of this one for the Jets. They win this game they are automatically in the playoffs. If they win this week and next week, they get a bye and are the 2nd seed in the AFC playoffs. Jets should get bye but it will be closer than people think. Chicago vs Detroit 1:00 PM FOX Pontiac Silverdome -In reality, Chicago should annihilate Detroit, who I think has Ty Detmer as their starting QB this week. Detroit has played teams tough all year and this could be an upset over a very confident and young Bears team. Minnesota vs Green Bay 1:00 PM FOX Lambeau Field -It will be cold and Favre does not lose in the cold. However Minnesota and especially randy Moss can heat up at anytime. Especially Chris Carter publicly criticizing Moss this week in the press. Could be interesting if the ultimate slacker plays like he is being paid too. Indianapolis vs St. Louis 1:00 PM CBS Trans World Dome -With St. Louis riding high, they could be do for a fall. regardless this should be an offensive shootout. Manning is palying well again and Dominic Rhodes could do some serious damage against the Rams run defense. Atlanta vs Miami 1:00 PM FOX Pro Player Stadium -Miami should be very scared of this one, especially the way they have played the last few weeks. They have looked awful. Chris CHandler is coming off of 2 incredible weeks, last week setting a Falcons record for yardage and they have nothing to play for but pride and to kill Miami's playoff chances. NY Giants vs Philadelphia 4:05 PM FOX Veterans Stadium -Giants are still hanging on by a thread for the playoffs and Philly has played bad as of late especially the offense. The loss of Sehorn will hurt the Giants. This will be a very tough game, but hopefully the Giants can beat them and somehow sneak into the playoffs. Oakland vs Denver 4:15 PM CBS Invesco Field -This is another upset game in the making. Oakland is in trouble. They are playing their worst football of the year and janokowski is a mess with missing 3 field goals last week and his groin problem. Denver could easily steal this one. Washington vs New Orleans 8:30 PM ESPN Superdome -New Orleans fighting for a playoff spot and trying to hold off the Bucs and Giants, need this game badly. Washington has been inconsistent. Should be a good game.

Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | quote:I would love to see Greise and Smith pull the upset in this one. I will also take the Giants, Bills, New Orleans and Atlanta for the upsets. Shane Falco in The Replacement on the last play of the game: "I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our style. Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I bet the huge surprise will be Green Bay/Minnesota. I just have a feeling that the Pack will strangely lose this one. Statistically the Vikes have no chance, but I have a feeling they'll pull it off. If the Jets lose, I'll shoot my foot!

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I'll go out and say it. The Bills have the best chance. Nothing comes easy for the Jets, and it won't this Sunday; And with Oakland the following week, we'll be wondering if we'll even make the playoffs with three minutes left. But hopefully they'll hang on by their collective threads and clinch a playoff berth. GodBlessAmerica. New York State Twatto -- "Hey, you never know."

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | The Vikings have quit. How else do you explain them losing 33-3 to Jacksonville at home. Green Bay will win that game by at least 20 points. The only Spoiler, I see winning this week is San Diego over Seattle. The Giants- Eagles game doesnt count in this category. They are both battling for a Division Title. The Giants are in much more than a Spoiler role.
