| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | Watching the WB news, and they are interviewing David Cone at spring training in a Sawx uniform. Man, I just got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Well, let's hope he goes 4-14 for the Sawx this year.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Cone is going to get rocked in Fenway. He should of just retired. The Sawwwwx may score some runs but besides Pedro, they are lacking pitching. If it was 1995 that would be another story because then they could rely on Nomo and Cone, but add another year to the Red Sox Curse this year. | ||||

He wasn't performing well, he was getting trashed in the media, he didn't start in the post season, etc. He knew things weren't looking good, so he bailed. But that doesn't take away from all the good things he's done for that team over the years. That's why I don't have any hostility towards him for leaving, and I guarantee that once he returns to the Bronx in an Sox uniform, he gets applause.
