| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00  | Well its official,just as I suspected,Sid Rosenberg will not be returning to the sports guys show.I knew something was wrong when the sports guys were at the Bennigans in Edison,and Sid wasn't there because he was out celebrating his wife passing the bar exam in Florida.Which could mean only one thing,Sids leaving the show.And this morning,right before Blaine and Craig went off the air,they announced that Sidneys contract for the next year would not be renewed and he wasnt returning to the show.Thats too bad,because in my opinion Sid was the only one out of the three that knew anything about sports history,the man is a sports genious.And due to that the show is going to suffer in a big way.Blaine and Craig were good second bananas, but they won't be able to carry the show alone.I met Sid a few weeks ago and he's a really funny guy.His presence on the show will surely be missed.I say again...Goodbye Sidney | ||||

If I still had them on when I woke up, I would hear him bitching about how sick he is of playing softball with "Loser Listeners." And if someone called with an opinion he didn't agree with, he would call them a loser for calling a radio show. Radio is a better place without him. We have finally phased out all the original Sports Guys. Now what's it gonna take to get rid of Olive? HA HA HA The Dragons are on pace to sell out just about every game, so I decided to stop being a HUA!!! | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Well, the only 'DJ's worse than Sidney are Blaine and Craig. Although I do have to agree with you Breeze that at least Sid knew a lot about sports. These other two guys are just nomads that will take a job in any city at any station that will actually hire them. Maybe they will rename the show now to 'dumb and dumber'???!!!! Sorry I am not a big 'Sports Guys' fan. -Someday, sometime, I will get my lazy ass to transfer to another site ... until then ..... | ||||

We were at Bennigan's also, and it would have been nice if Sid was there. Oh well, I will continue to support the show, I like hearing the sports info on my way to work. | Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | scott and Sid were the Sports Guys. The show took a big hit after Scotty left, now with Sid gone it may not survive. I loved having Sid on the show.
