Golf is a way of life for me and my friends though I'm sure there are plenty around here who could not understand that... I'm playing for the first time this season tomorrow. I finished the year last year at a 2 hndcp. Also, I have been fortunate to be able to play many of this region's finest layouts, both for fun and competitively although playing in tournaments is "a completely different animal" and something I don't enjoy as much as I used to...besides, finding a good caddie is tough these days... | ||||

"Lovey, how 'bout a jaunt out to the club today?"...Godamnit!!! I hate the snobs that are members at the clubs I've been to...all these gorgeous fucking courses around here and these rich pricks pay filthy sums of money only to play about 5 rounds a year...these courses are always empty...what a waste! Meanwhile, I have to wait 3 hours on a walk-on list with my friends to play some goat track on the weekends...does this rant answer your question? | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01 | OK guys I made it back from the course in 1 piece. I almost wrapped my 9 iron around this assholes head that was in my group. Every time I was about to tee-off he was chewing his fucking gum and craking it. This mother fucker was so annoying I made him play ahead and almost hit on my next drive. ha ha ha. All in all I shot a 103 missed 3 easy putts. | ||||

Anyone think its worth a shot? (BTW, i wouldn't be organizing cause i'm not familiar with any of the courses down here... so, hopefully someone else would jump in on that one..) I don't think we'd get a ton of people, but that would actually be better.. you can only have 4 in each group anyway..... | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Tequila, I have stories but, apparently they take too long and I had to log in again... To keep it short, I fired a six iron at a guy last year for makin' all kinds of noises...just missed him...thankfully, I guess. If you're shooting around 90 or 100 it's EASY to improve!!! It gets harder to improve as you progress...kind of the opposite of most things. We've got about six so far, let's see what shakes out in the next few weeks. I know I can host a foursome but if there is any kind of response, I'll see what I can do...maybe O & A might organize something? ("hmmm, hmmmm...") As for a golf outing we should wait because we have the anniversay party then the softball game & a baseball game to attend. I like you guys from the board but once a month is enough;) | ||||
