Being a 5 Time Champion DOESNT mean consecutive. The Yankees are 26 Time World Champions, that doesnt mean they won 26 in a row. WHen the Red Wings were in a long drought (i forget how many years) between stanley cups the fans started throwing octopi onto the rink..
