Where's the any key? I don't want to look like a weirdo...I'll go with the mumu!

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | ok -- HOCKEY GOD HERE !!! -- the Avs lost the series when Patric miss played the puck in game 4 -- I said it then and still stand by it now. Game 4 Devils were comming and comming and still not scoring -- Roy F-d up and gave them hope and let Gomez refind his game. BUT GONNA TRY THIS ANYWAY [Opie voice] LETS GO DEVILS [/Opie Voice] lets see what happens SBob -- Avs have 3 of the top D-men in the playoffs today (allthough Ray is old) and you are showing your devils blinders again. match them Blake vs Stevens ? Blake Bourque vs Niedermayer ? Niedermayer Foote vs Rafalski ? Closer than most would think but i'de take Foote for hes all around play if need E-Mail Me "We all need... a haven. A sanctuary. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Sorry Raven, I'll take Stevens over Blakey anyday. I can care less if my defense contributes or not to the offense, just as long as the defense doesn't take a hit. Stevens' experience far exceeds that of Blake, and Stevens' +/- is about 320 better than Blake. You have Nieder correct. Rafalski/Foote, I'll take Raffy. The guy has proven through adversity. Even with his size, he still can handle the pounding and still put up an average of 42 points a year. Footey averages 15 pts. a year. This message was edited by SpiderBob on 6-5-01 @ 4:23 PM

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Blake -- is more of a complete D-man then Stevens - as for Rafalski -- i might change my tune in a few years, but if i had a team in the finals -- foote would be my choice if need E-Mail Me "We all need... a haven. Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01 | Hopefully the Devils don't get lazy as they've done in the past. Like Gomez said, the last one is the toughest one to win. Back in the 70's Stevens would be a normal player, now he's a goon. Bring back the old days! So they lost more teeth and had more stitches, it's for MY entertainment anyways :-) -=Rob

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I would take Rafalski over Foote. Rafalski in the Devils unsung hero in my opinion. As for biggest scumbag in Hocky. My vote goes to Valeri Kamensky. And of course Spiderbob is going to take Stevens over Blake. He would take Stevens over Blake,Pronger,Lidstrom, and Leetch combined. But unfortunately it looks like the Meadowlands Parking Lot is going to get another work out soon. quote: I disagree. Colorado is a very good team. Thats why they are where they are at right now, and won the Presidents Trophy. They just are slightly below the Devils. It also doesnt help when your missing one of the Top 5 Players in the World because of some freak accident at a restaurant. This message was edited by Francine Banger on 6-5-01 @ 6:34 PM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | The Avalance built their team for this year. after losing to the Dallas Stars 2 years in a row in the confrence finals in game 7's at Dallas, they vowed to get home ice. They were going to get home ice and win the cup this year, they were not to be denied. They came close to getting killed by the giant-killer Kings in the confrence semis, but they weathered that storm, and then proceeded to devastate a very good Blues team. Colorado trailed only :52 the entire series against Saint Louis. They then had their sites on the Devils of New Jersey, and since they had the best record, they had the home ice they wanted. Their team had accomplished what they set out to do. Since August, the mission was to get home ice, and then the Cup. Game 1 showed why they wanted home ice, even the mighty road warrior Devils couldn't stand a chance at the Pepsi Center. One thing they forgot, however, was that the team they were playing has the best away playoff record in the history of the NHL. Of the 3 games played in Colorado, the Avalanche have won only 1. The home ice they so desperatly wanted, may be the reason the lose the cup. This message was edited by Unicron on 6-5-01 @ 10:11 PM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Sakic is the main guy not Jagr. Jagr is too much of a pussy and will fold in New York. He couldnt handle the pressure in Pittsburgh, lets see him handle it in New York. And the main reason why Sakic is the man not Jagr. Sakic is a free agent. Jagr is not. To get Sakic, you give up nothing except money, which the Rangers have plenty of To get Jagr, you will have to say bye to most of these guys: Brendl, Lundmark, Malhotra, York, Dvorak, Hlavac.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Once again francine banger, good point. But as a ranger fan, weve sucked for 5 years now, if they wanted to develop young talent, they shouldve done it 3 yrs ago. I dont want to sit here and wait for guys like Brendl and Lundmark to develop all at the same time on the pro team, cause then it will be another 3 years of losing. Keep then in the minors, get rid of all the old foggies on that minor league team, and build them up there. Also, we've tried to get Sakic before, he isnt coming here, as much as I want him. But with your point francine, id rather get him then Jagr. Yea i be taking that zoloff, but thaz jus keepin me from killin y'all. Colorado knows better than to make him unrestricted. Yea i be taking that zoloff, but thaz jus keepin me from killin y'all.
