| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Face it Devil fans, the better team won this series. If not for a misplay by Roy in Game 4, the Avs would have won 5 of these 7 games. The only game that the Devils dominated was Game 5. And keep in mind the Avalanche did this without one of the best players in the World in the lineup. Now Hopefully Sakic will have his fun in the sun as Champion, and then ink his name to a contract that says New York Rangers on top of it.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Fleury should be de-toxed by now though, and he was having a career type year before the bottle got the better for him. If I were a Ranger fan, I'd hang in there. Glen Sather knows what he's doing when it comes to building teams and doing it without money, now he just has to figure out how to do it with money basically as no object. Sakic though, it will be interesting to see what happens, the Flyers might put a decent offer out there for him too. Now that the cup is done with there should be some big deals on draft day. There is no way that Sakic will go to Long Island to play in front of 5,000 people a night a year after winning the Cup...hell at least the Rangers have Fleury Messier and Nedved for Sakic to pal around with. How can you say that about a team with that much veteran depth, THE BEST money goalie in the world, a first line center with the best wristshot in hockey since Wayne Gretzky circa 1984 (and boy, won't he look good in Blue mext year), and doing it all without their best player who is maybe the best complete player in the game? I gotta say, judging by your sig pic, you come into any hockey arguement in the last 10 years with 2 strikes against you...but this is one that shouldn't even be started.  | ||||
