| When you were a wee-kid, playing little league, clinic football, or whatever. Who was the sports hero you wanted to be like?
For me it was the Met's Keith Hernandez. He played 1st and when I was 6 I always thought that was the best position because the ball always went to you.
Well that and he ended up in a classic Seinfeld episode.:)

| Dykstra ... Always thought as a kid, that if I ended the game with a clean uniform, it meant that I didn't play hard enough.
(By the way, that attitude bought me a torn ACL last Saturday in men's league baseball. Guess some kids never grow up... Thanks NAILS!!)
Just another observation of insanity.

| I had a bunch, but I'd have to say Will Clark. I was a lefty, and I'd stand in the box and tug on my sleeve the way he used to.

| As a "wee-kid" in the earlier 70s. Bobby Murcer was all we had to cheer for. Later 70s it was Reggie Jackson. Into the 80s Mattingly and Winfield. And then LT with the Giants super bowl runs.
After that I think I stopped being physically a kid. Mentally, the jury is still out.
