O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Well, Al Morganti has been reporting, as well as many other sources that if Lindros agrees to terms with the Rangers then Hull will also sign with them. With that in mind, Rangers fans shouldn't be quite as upset with the trade for Lindros. School's out, shouldn't you have a job? O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	You're saying that because you are a Flyer Fan. If was a Ranger Fan I would shoot Sather right in the head. He's doing everything he said he wasn't. And why this sudden change. He could have given up the same package for Jagr who is 10 times a sure bet than Lindros. It doesn't make sense. For a year all they have been talking about is Lundmark and Brendl, Lundmark and Brendl how they will be great stars in NY. But now it's Jelly Head Lindros and Brett Hull, who is still great but he is 37 and for what two years??? They had Brendl who could have given them 15 years. It doesn't make sense, and it's just Neil Smith all over again.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Brendl? He may have been a high #1 draft pick, but it doesn't mean he will be a 'sure-fire' superstar. If he was, he would have already been on the major league roster years ago. From all I've read, he could just as easily be a MAJOR bust. Even though Hull (possibly)is/will be good for 2 years - you need to have a sniper that scares the S out of the opponent the second he crosses the blue line. I would have liked to see this package go for Jagr - but it needs 2 to dance. I'm scared Lindros is gonna have a LaFontaine. The Rangers have been out of the playoff for SOOO many years and they need to make it this year so Sather is trying ANYTHING....at least he is trying

O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00	keep bringing in more old guys to collect their pension on broadway. good thinking glen sather. sather didnt screw us up enough by blowing the jagr deal now hes gonna get lindros. way to ruin the future glen. to think i actually thought we were going places when we signed sather to be the gm now all he does is play golf and make bad decisions M.
