well, there was the Voltron that was comprised of 3 teams - Land, Sea & Air.
each team had 5 vehicles for a grand total of 15 vehicles.
I had the toy. and yes, there was a cartoon about this particular Voltron.
and Go Bots came out AFTER Transformers. Transformers originally started as a comic book, then the cartoon/toy explosion and Hanna Barbara, the fuckin hacks that they were, busted out the clone Go-Bots.
and yes, FUCK Hanna Barbara. they always re-hased certain animations in EVERY cartoon they produced. Lazy faggots, the lot of them.
EVERY He-Man episode feature the same clips of animation of He Man running "towards the camera and jumping over it"
All the Scooby Doo episodes had the typical profile shot of the entire gang walking...from left to right on your screen....
fuck Hanna Barbara.

actually "little" money savers like that don't bother me too much. Scooby Doo, especially the first couple years mid sixties, was pretty good, with decent story lines.....
if they take some short cuts, to put a good product on the air, more power to them.

Anyone else old enough to remember Battle Star Gallactica,
they had like 5 fight scene sequences that got used in every episode.

an awesome yet obscure cartoon known as "Bionic Six" featured incredible animation in every episode with very seldom used "money savers". Same goes with "Galaxy Rangers" & "Mask" too.
Come to think of it, GI Joe didn't do that either.
I always understood why Hanna Barbara did it (money/time saver indeed) but it still annoyed me.
At least change it up a bit...like Lorimar/Telepictures did with Lion-os "thunder, thunder, thunder, thundercats ho!" powering up animation.
and Davey was a little bible thumpin' faggot.
yeah, I said it.
insert virtual boot here -> :moon:
(and actually, I didn't mind watching D&G back in the day. I just "went there" 'cause...eh, it was fun.

Thundercats was the shit- It got a little retarded when they had those new characters on the show, esp that blind old man/cat guy.....

mmmmmmmmm,
I can still sing the Bionic Six theme I think,
and the villians were pretty good.....
Scarab was a disturbingly odd looking fellow,
and I am sure the O on Miss O was for orgasm, she was a hot little mutant.

Are you talking the TV show or was there a cartoon made of this? If you are talking about the actual show, then yeah I definitely remember it. It was one of my favorites.
I still have never seen the movie though. Have you and if so was it any good?
