Disney does a good job of overdoing that tired story line of a young character's mother or father is killed early in the movie and he has to work hard to make it in the world. They overdo it but in a good way.

They make "feel good", "kid friendly" movies.
I doubt many toddlers/young children would spend too much time looking at the VCR cover art to find penises.

all of my disney movies are coverless. My son has gone through the stage of destroying everything in his path. And video tape covers were among the victims. So now we're ghetto with a bunch of video tapes sitting out in the open.

I've never seen the little mermaid. We are slowly hijacking all the disney movies from my in laws' house. They originally said my wife couldn't have her disney movies. Yeah like my mother in law is gonna watch the Rescuers Down Under any time soon.

I have more issue with their evil, manical business practices then the actual product. I think ole Walt would roll in his grave if he saw what a corporate conglomerate it has become.

We are the music-makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams; World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems.</marquee>

Bambi: Lesson People Die, get over it.
Snow White: Lesson Women are evil manipulative jealous bitches or sweat beautiful hard working things of nature. (Same lesson in 101 Dalmations.)
Little Mermaid: Lesson Go ahead and be a horny little slut and be completely self-focus that you would destroy your father through your whorings because it will all work out in the end.
Lion King: Swoogies can only rule if they act like majestic whities and not skeming homeboys.

songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!</center>
