Flipping through the channels to watch something while I settle down to eat some delicious KFC ( :-*)

There's NOTHING on. I remember where I could flip to any channel and be entertained. Now..even with cable...bupkis.

I can't watch Two and A Half Men anymore, for the love of God that show is causing a decline in Western Civilization, that and MTV.

But after MTV got stale and filled with gay lil reality shows I could coast the USS Awesome to VH1 and relive the turmoils of bands I have only heard one song by because most 80's metal sucked shit.
But now even VH1 is following suit. Please bring back MTV Animation or SOMETHING, christ.

Also, would it kill someone to come up with an original idea for a movie anymore? It's remake this and make a sequel to that now.
And I guess I'm not welcome in the artsyfag circles and watch really shitty indie films, that are just as boring as the public access that funded them.

So a few weeks ago, the topic of Dave Ramsey came up, and you guys all swore by him. So naturally, when my wife and I were discussing various financial topics over the weekend, I recalled the discussion, particularly how many of you reported positive experiences, so we stopped into our local book store and picked up Dave's "Total Money Makeover" book.

All I can say is...wow. I am so impressed by this guy, and how he's able to articulate his principles. We're both eager to go ahead and live debt free, just after having read 2/3 of the book.

For those of you who have gone at it Dave's way, I've got to ask...care to elaborate on your experiences?

Oh my gosh, this is so ridiculous. I cannot believe douchebag Bob from Nashville either. And then the stupid chick from NJ agreeing with Bob. With the exception of the policeman having fear for his life, there is NO reason for this happening. Thoughts?

I know. You probably hate this new show with the stupid name. We were all there. Some of us discovered FBHW when we lost Howard Stern, or Bob and Tom...the stories are all the same.

But I promise you - if you give it a chance, most of you will grow to love this show, just like most of us have. It's like no other show I've listened to before.

At first, I couldn't get past the name. Then I couldn't figure out which guy was which. But I just powered through it, and now the day wouldn't be complete without listening to FBHW in the morning.

Welcome aboard! Hang in there, it'll be worth it!

My wife just bought a Nikon L18
She has been talking about the damn thing for months.

I was just wondering if this camera is good or if there are any others that are in the same range but better. I know it is a good camera for casual use, I know the nikon name is pretty well regarded.
