In today's Grand Rapids Press there was a special section of the annual Tops in GR awards. Sadly I can't find a link to it on the piece of crap mlive website.
What types of r-tards voted for this piece of crap list? Here are a few of the "highlights"...
Best Chicken: KFC
Best Hamburger: Burger King / Red Robin
Best Italian: Olive Garden
Best Seafood: Red Lobster
Best Steak: Outback
Do you honestly mean to tell me that Burger King has the best burgers in Grand Rapids? Or that nowhere else has better chicken than KFC? Or that Grand Rapids doesn't have a better Italian place than Olive Garden? Best steaks... Outback?! Are you kidding?
What a worthless list! Apparently the people who voted for this thing never get out.

I think for the stunts with no video (like pick up a girl with a puppet) they should at least post the audio. They did it for wheelchair a-hole. I usually miss them because of their timeslot and only get to watch the video.
So, who's with me?

Putting on nail polish at work, what a great thing to do.... Okay, I made a 60 year old woman that has "princess syndrome" mad at me today. She decided to put on nail polish right next to me at work at the cubicle. I asked her nicely to stop, telling her I am very allergic to strong perfume smells. She comes back with, "I'm only touching up my nails." I get mad and go to a supervisor about it. The supervisor tells her, "Just like on Tuesday, when we advised you that you couldn't spray on perfume on the floor, this is the same thing."
When she did the Tuesday thing, I couldn't breathe and our supervisor had a coughing spell. I took out my Epi-Pen and explained to her how serious it is. So today, the disregard to the fact that I asked her nicely to put it up. I actually did what was mandated. For 30 minutes before I could find someone with some kind of aspirin to make the inflammation go down, I had to sit at my desk in pain. It took an hour before the stuff to work. I'm just glad that I didn't have to use the Epi-Pen.....
"Princess Syndrome" woman got mad at me and told me that I was a mean person, and I wasn't her friend anymore....Ah, an interesting day...

OK here's the story
My daughter is in kindergarten and they of course have all kinds of little health lessons and all. However today there was something that annoyed me.
She comes home today talking about this stupid clown named brushie and he is part of a children's dentistry office. This is one of these campy little places with ancient arcade games that barley work and a little play land and of course a clown. It is called brushie-land.
Now I don't mind the fact that the clown came in and entertained the kids while showing some good info about what kids should and shouldn't do about their teeth, proper brushing, foods and whatnot.
The problem I have has to do with the fact that she has like 7 different things she had brought home in her book bag saying "DR. Irving W. Jacobson's brushie-land" with phone number, address and all just plastered all over it. The reason this bothers me is the fact that the school would allow advertisements to be placed directly into a kindergarten. Advertisements are one thing in high school and it is just there and by that time the tastes of the kids are already set, but this is a little annoying because of the fact that kids at that age are so impressionable and believe everything they are told in school, so now i have my daughter bugging me to take her to this piece of shit dentist where this completely Megan's law list looking clown works at, when I have a dentist set for her and take her regularly.
I don't believe I am wrong to be at least a little upset about this, but I just want to ask here to see if I am truly justified, and to basically satisfy my own insecurity in thinking I am wrong.

I was just sitting here, listening to the podcast, and someone came in and casually asked, "Whatcha listening to?"
I felt so friggin' STUPID telling him. I know, it's a stupid name. I know that the guys acknowledge it's a stupid name. And I even know that in the past I've been asked the same question...but it got me thinking. Has anyone else felt like a total douche when they had to say the name of the show aloud?
