Ok. So maybe this is nerdy, but I thought that maybe it would be fun to make an old school time capsule. I was thinking that it would be fun to make one of those questionnaires to pop in there to find out what kind of things I liked ten years before.

Things like:

- What was your favorite car?
- How many kids do you think you'll have?
- How do you think the current president will do?
- What is your main goal for the next 10 years?
- What is your favorite song/ band?
- What part of town do you live in?
- How much money do you make?

Then I was thinking about going around to my favorite spots and taking pictures of them now. Maybe grab menus from my favorite restaurants. Write a letter to myself and a couple other people too.

Anybody got any ideas for the questions? or something else I can throw in there?

I bought my wife a $400 mp3 player years ago when they were brand new. Thats about it....

It's different with kids I think as most of our money goes to them. She bought me 2 books last year...Marvel Comics Encyclopedia and DC Comics Encyclopedia.

I used to watch Rosie as a kid after school. Mostly because she had a lot of interesting guests on and well, lets face it, I was a little gay for her. Now it seems she's become a media whore.

I was surfing the web the other day and stumbled on this clip from the Today Show talking about her feud with the bitches over at The View.

Now, I understand, being a bully and smacking a few bitches around is funny, and its great publicity. My issue is, the new show Rosie Live. Why in gods name would NBC give her a sketch comedy show? The only sketch comedy show to last on that network is SNL, but barely. Is this really gonna be a hit, or just another flop, causing her to lash out at someone else? Is she funny enough to carry a show for more than 2 episodes?

So I just heard the NHL Winter Classic commercial on WGRD talking about the Red Wings vs. Blackhawks game and I'm kind of annoyed by it. I originally laughed when I heard it but the more I thought about it, the more I thought the guys dropped the ball.

The part that was funny but pissed me off at the same time was when Zane says,

"The Red Wings': Marian Hossa, Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk just to name a few of the stars, and for the Blackhawks.....that one guy....and Steve something. They suck!"

You can also hear Free Beer say "Yea they do" even though we all know he knows jack **** about hockey.

And if you do know anything about hockey, as Zane does, then you should know who Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are. These guys are rising stars for the Blackhawks. Kane won the NHL's Rookie of the Year last season while Toews finished second. They've quickly become the faces of the franchise.

As if it wasn't bad enough that they chose not to name any Blackhawks, citing the fact that they suck was just in bad taste. I know they're not an awesome team like the Wings but it's not like they're the Detroit Lions of the NHL. In fact, the Hawks give Detroit fits every time they play each other.

I don't want to sound like a crybaby Blackhawks fan who's just jealous that the Wings are so dominant, in fact Marian Hossa has been one of my favorite players for the past few years now. I just think if they're going to promote the game, it's stupid to act like it's not a dream matchup of two good original six teams playing at Wrigley Field.

Most of us get free pens/pencils from somewhere. For instance I have a Welch's pen right in front of me because I attended a 'National Grape' Meeting a little while back.

I also have a pencil that says "Girls+Math+Science=Choices"

Well maybe this doesn't really belong in this forum but whatever.

I want to get a new laptop and don't know the first thing about processors. I'm looking at a Dell Inspiron or XPS with at least 3000MB RAM and at least a 120GB hard drive. My choices in processors are Intel Pentium Dual Core - 2000, Intel Pentium Dual Core - 1860, Intel Core 2 Duo - 2000, AMD Turion 64 Dual Core - 2000, AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core - 1900, among a few others. I don't do much on my laptop, just normal things like music and pictures and Internet. And I may want to install a PC game or two. I just want my new laptop to be fast and obsolescence-proof (at least for a few years).

Are any of these significantly better than others, or are they all pretty comparable? Thanks!

The guys nailed it when they started talking about the way young girls over-react about EVERYTHING!! My girls are 5 and 8 and they fight over any and everything...the 5 yr old talks over the TV constantly and I've got to shut her up because "SHE'S RUINING MY LIFE MOM" I'LL NEVER GET TO WATCH THIS SPONGEBOB SHOW AGAIN!!!" She even warned her class about her sister when she was going to attend the same school, told everyone she was a big crybaby and a blabber mouth...the teacher told me this. Love my girls, hate the drama. I also have 2 sisters and I can remember fighting with them....... :'(
