Anyone still not getting any podcast segments? I only got # 16 yesterday, and nothing so far today. My subscription should still be good for another 4 months or so. Have they said anything on the show? Life is ruined!!

I know there are alot more than what was discussed on the show.
Mine would be either Trot Nixon High or Alge Crumpler High. Anyone else?

It's nearing the holidays, and The show will not be on for the 2 days for Thanksgiving, unsure if more days.
Be sure to save some podcasts for listening, or a playlist of Best of with your favorite segments. Unless..they would throw and an extra segment being best of , on each day for the next month. Maybe?

I am always impressed with Free Beer during the sportier then thou challenge. All GR listeners probably have heard Bill Simonson and the joke of a sports talk show he is. My friends and I tune in about once a week for a half hour for the unintentional comedy. When Huge hides his lack of sports knowledge by yelling at Mueller as he no doubt looks up information on what the caller just wanted to talk about must make Mueller want to shoot himself.

I think Free Beer should challenge Huge to a sportier then thou challenge. I'm sure Citadel wouldn't allow it, but it would be funny to see a morning show guy dominate the voice of West Michigan sports.

A few weeks ago a couple friend of ours had a baby. While we were visiting them in the hospital a co-worker of hers came up with his wife and their little guy. I would say he is in his late 20's to early 30's. While they were talking it turned out that their son was born in the exact same room in the exact same hospital. He then asked our friend who her nurse was and after she answered he said, "We had a nice colored gal."

Now I've heard my Grandfather and people of the "older" generation using the term "colored people" but I haven't heard it from a 30 something....ever. I tend to think the term is a little on the racist side, but what say the rest of you? He really caught me off guard when he said it in full stride like it was everyday common language.
