For once a movie finally lived up to the hype.

Yesterday's What Hotwings Thinks was wrong -- Heath Ledger did an outstanding job as the Joker. The movie's a bit long, however. Judging by the turnout last night, I think this movie will absolutely blow away all the previous box office records for opening weekend.

Anyone else see it?

I'm watching ESPN, and the Titletown USA segment for Detroit just played, where they're touting all of Detroit's sports glory.

One of the things they said was that Detroit was the home of the largest crowd in college basketball history, and they showed the Spartans running out onto the floor.

Did Detroit annex Lansing ? What am I missing here ?

If you have never seen Weird Al live in concert, I highly recommend you adding it to the list of things to do before you die (and this is coming from someone who likes to go to metal shows!) It is without a doubt the most ENTERTAINING 2 hrs and 15 mins you will ever experience. He is an incredible performer, and in between songs you will be amused by hilarious video clips and fake interviews. Also, he has had the same band members throughout his career, and they are probably one of the most underrated bands out there.

I saw him in Louisville, KY a couple of weeks ago, and will be seeing him tomorrow night in Knoxville, TN! Good times!!!
