Alright, now this board has been here for almost a year. There are plenty of people here, and even if you have never been part of a message board before this, if you've been here this long i would say you've had enough experience here to know what's what with message boards. Now there has been some n00bs coming here, and don't get me wrong I have no problem with n00bs. I understand that to a certain point we are all asses of one form or another, this is the basic listener base of the show, but if you don't post we don't know you. Don't make your first post some loud assholish thing and expect people not to get upset and put you on blast. If you show us you are a normal person and not a complete dick by participating in some regular conversation without just being a dick like talking a little in the "right now i'm..." thread or joining in a conversation without contradicting everything you see. When you don't do these things you just seem like a troll, and no body wants to deal with that. Now there are some n00bs here who have actually been decent in their first posts, but there have been some who just come out swinging for post number 1, and this is where the problem comes in. Now I am sure most of the people doing this are probably decent and funny people to deal with but if the first impression you give us is asshole then that is what we see and think.
What I am trying to say is a message to all n00bs, the ones who have posted and the ones who have yet to. Show us you actually have a normal non-dickish side before you go out and act like an ass. This way we know you can be a normal person instead of just a troll.

Car Companies |

So.. something dawned on me this morning as I was reading about Penske buying the Saturn Brand from GM.
As I thought about what was going on with the car companies and our economy here, I thought about another time where the government stepped in to make changes to a large company.
That company was AT&T. It was forced to break itself up into smaller companies due to antitrust regulations.
As I watch the car companies begin to break themselves up to survive, I begin to wonder if history will repeat itself and if the car companies will end up consolodating back into giant companies once again.
Who is to say that in 5 years, that GM won't just buy Saturn and Hummer back from the companies they are selling to today?
