I thought of this when I was on the toilet today. (Just so you have a better handle of the situation) Who remembers Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey. If you don't then look up some of the videos. This could be a success or a giant turd but what are some of your deep thoughts.
BTW, you can also share some of your favorite Jack Handey thoughts as well if you want to go that route. I'll start one off with one of his.
Instead of a trap door, what about a trap window? The guy looks out it, and if he leans too far, he falls out. Wait. I guess that's like a regular window.

Granted, this is from FOX so it's probably a little slanted. But I doubt even they'd mess with actual quotes... maybe take them out of context, but to even be considering this.. ugh.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/03/...s-package/
Here's just the intro:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that Congress needs to "keep the door open" to a another stimulus package -- raising the question of how much the government could eventually spend on top of the $787 billion already allocated to rescue the country from dire economic straits.

There's this real catchy song that goes on sometimes before the show returns. I know it isn't Audioslave or Jimi Hendrix. There aren't any lyrics it just features a badass guitar riff with some high pitched notes. If anyone has the slightest clue of the song this clip might be apart of I'd really appreciate it.

Door-to-Door Sex Offender / edgy stunts |

I think Joe Stunts have gone as far as they can go, concerning their edginess. I'm not saying there won't be ones that are just as funny or even funnier than ones in the past. However, I think "Door-to-Door Sex Offender" would take things to the next level, but they could never do it.
I just bring this up because over time, they've seemed to get edgier and edgier, and I loved it, but it seems that it can't go any further, which is a little let-down, but not too bad because they've also gotten funnier over time, and I think this trend will continue.
P.S. I think the edginess peaked at Wheelchair A-Hole. While they got in worse trouble for "Blow-up Doll Bed Shopping" (aka "Test a Matress"), I think W. A-Hole was worse, but they got away with it. Come on, he called an innocent employee a prostitute to her face!
What do you think has been the edgiest Joe Stunt?

Let's talk about comics, your faves, your least faves and what not.
I was reading the Buffy season 8 pretty regularly, until there was a delay in something or other and an issues ended up being 2 weeks late, that 2 weeks was enough for me to lose interest and I havent bough an issue since. I have however read all of the TPB at Barnes and Noble.
Also, I really hate it when they "kill" a character. You know he's going to come back.
I hated it when Supergirl died but she died heroically so that was cool, I mean that's what being a hero is all about, being willing to make the ultimate sacrifice so that others may continue to live, but when the comic company decides to bring the character back from the dead, regardless of how they do it, it cheapens and makes a mockery of the death.
I can look past them bringing Supergirl back though, she is one of my favorite characters, and Michael Turner did an awesome job with the art while her story was being re invented.
Also, I love Wizard Magazine, I usualy read it (for free ! ) at Barnes and Noble and it keeps me up to date on whats going on in the world of comics
