I think it would be expensive but if FBHW did make the jump I'd have to really consider making the switch. Don't know much about it but I assume I'd have to subscribe and buy all new radios right?

Last year at the end of year, Joe did a countdown of the top five Joe Stunts for that year.
What are your top five for this year so far?
Mine are:
1. Sound Bytes down the phone line
2. Wheelchair A-Hole
3. Yo-Gabba-Gabba Food Order
4. Jingle Shopping
5. Air-Horn A-Hole
(I think those are all from this year.)
Honorable mentions include Diamond Dave Crazy Talker and Air-Horn A-Hole part 2.

The Barry-Barry Controversy |

I thought I'd take the time to explain the Barry-Barry controversy for any listeners who are not familiar with it. (Please correct any mistakes.)
It all began with an old game they would play on the show called "Celebrity Name Game." Listeners would call in and take on a show member. It began with a celebrity's name, and one of the players had to come up with a different celebrity name that matched either the first name or the last name. It would then go back and forth until someone got stumped.
Example:
Caller: Michael J. Fox
Zane: Michael Jackson
Caller: Randy Jackson
Zane: Randy Newman
etc.
The controversy stemmed from the rule that spelling didn't have to match, but pronounciation did have to match. This led to people matching the last name "Berry" to the first name "Barry." No one thought anything of it, except for some listeners in New Jersey who argued that those were different because they were spelled and pronounced completely differently. The show members denied this and demanded New Jersey listeners who thought the name was different to demonstrate the pronounciation. Listeners from that region then pronounced "Berry" as BAIR-ee and "Barry" as BAh-ree (with the "a" as in "apple." However, the pronounciation of "a" as in "apple" for Barry was lost in the New Jersey accent, so the show members denied any difference in the pronounciation.
This grew into a huge controversy that somehow led to show members mistakenly thinking Jersey listeners were saying "BAR-ee" with "bar" pronounced like a place that serves drinks. Eventually, this misunderstanding was clarified, but the show still likes to joke that "It's pronounced BAIR-ee - NOT BAR-ee."
The feud lasted for many moons before finally, after some more pronounciation demonstrations, show members admitted that they heard a difference, though they could just identify it as some sort of influxuation of speech. To this day, they have never figured out that New Jersey callers pronounce "Barry" with the "a" sounding like the "a" in "apple."
The End.

Quit bleeping the farking songs |

I am so damned irritated with the radio stations bleeping out freaking songs. There should be a bleep limit. X number of bleeps and either the artist has to remix the song to get rid of bleep-ation, or they shouldn't play the stupid thing. I was listening to that stupid pop station (107.5) and that stupid Lollipop song was on and half of the damned thing was bleeped. Normally, I change it as I'm flipping, but I stopped and tried to count the number of bleeps as I sat in traffic on Briley Pkway, but I got so pissed I lost count. Net, net, the FCC can suck it.

This is in honor of Hot Wings getting blasted at Radio Conference last weekend.
Back in 1987 me and six of my friends bought Eighteen bottles of Boons farm to split between us and hit the road. We were out cruising the country roads in in central Michigan up by CMU and we found an old abandon farm house to play in.
I think about four of us, including myself, were big into playing Dungeon and Dragons, as the night progressed and we steadily got drunker, me and this other guy started to revert into our D&D characters. Since the character I played was a goodie two shoes called a "Paladin" (for those of you who don't know D&D speak a paladin is a knight who can't help himself but to run around and do good deeds) and my drunk buddy also played a paladin, Our empty wine bottles became swords and we ran up and down the road in front of the old house laughing and yelling "Smite the EEEVIL!!!"
It was getting dark about that time And two of the girls that were with our party came screaming out of the house "We saw a Ghost!!, we saw a Ghost!!!" They were acting like they like they were scared out of their minds. We took this as a challenge and drunkenly sprinted up into the house to kill a ghost or two.
